Zusammen mit dem Unfallmeldestecker ist die WWK UMD-App Kernstück des Unfallmeldedienstes, einem automatischen Notrufsystems für Ihren PKW.
Voraussetzung für die Nutzung des Unfallmeldedienstes ist eine bestehende Kfz-Versicherung mit WWK Kfz Schutzbrief plus bei der WWK.Ist das der Fall, erhalten Sie von der WWK einen Unfallmeldestecker zusammen mit ihren Registrierungsdaten für die WWK UMD-App.
Sowohl der Unfallmeldestecker als auch die App sind schnell installiert und einfach zu bedienen.Damit ein Notrufsignal ausgelöst werden kann, muss der Unfallmeldestecker über die 12-Volt-Steckdose Ihres PKW`s mit Strom versorgt und über Bluetooth mit Ihrem Smartphone verbunden sein.
Und so funktioniert der Unfallmeldedienst:Automatisches NotrufsignalErkennt die Sensortechnik Ihres Unfallmeldesteckers eine Kollision, sendet er mithilfe der UMD-App automatisch Informationen über die Schwere des Aufpralls, den aktuellen Standort Ihres Fahrzeugs sowie die letzte Fahrtrichtung an die Notrufzentrale bzw.
an unser Service Center.
Zunächst wird versucht eine Sprachverbindung zu Ihnen herzustellen, um weitere wichtige Unfalldaten (z.B.
Anzahl der Verletzten) und erforderliche Maßnahmen mit Ihnen zu klären.
Gelingt das nicht, werden die vorhandenen Informationen umgehend an die zuständige Rettungsleitstelle weitergeleitet, damit die Rettungskräfte schnell vor Ort sind.Manuelles NotrufsignalHaben Sie mit Ihrem PKW eine Panne oder sind Sie Zeuge eines schweren Unfalls können Sie ein manuelles Notrufsignal über Ihre WWK UMD-App auslösen.Dazu wählen Sie den Button „Rettung anfordern“ oder „Unfall/Panne melden“.
